Journaling Dates on Zoom

Journaling dates are one hour sessions to help you experience a more consistent journaling practice. Guided by my facilitation to ensure you feel safe and stable, the dates helps you “dip your toes” in the journaling pool. It is the most intimate thing we do in the group because you give yourself permission to go on dates with yourself and the creative projects you are birthing. Like real dates, they invite you to come with a spirit of romance, exploration, passion, and intention.

Do you prefer a 1:1 journaling experience? Contact me to discuss a customized session with me that matches your specific life needs.

Journaling Workshops

Journaling workshops help the group come together with the goal of learning something new. They are 2 – 3 hour sessions that help us journal at length about topics that matter to us–cultivating quiet, relating in new ways to our workbench projects, and showing up for what is happening inside us too. Past workshop subjects have included: the body, writing about nature, food memories, and stress-busting our creativity dragons.

Next workshop:

Do you want to feel more connected to your personal destiny? Do you want deeper contact with an event without getting overwhelmed by the emotions? Do you desire clarity about an event that still holds sway over you? Do you prefer guidance and the support of a journaling circle?

Join me on Saturday, January 10, 2026 from 1 – 4, for an in-person journaling workshop at my place in Albuquerque to learn the “dialogue with events” tool. The tool will help you understand how an event continues to shape your life and what is the most important takeaway for the present.

The workshop includes: guided entrance meditations, reflective writing to synthesize insights, and time to share. The workshop is $55 suggested (with sliding scale options). Tea/coffee and light snacks served. Bring a first-time friend for free. Make a “pay from the heart” gift below to register for January workshop.

Open Sheds

Open sheds invite you to share your best journal writing with The Writing Shed group. They run like a traditional open-mic where we celebrate our authentic expression and listen with joy and support. They are celebratory events to help us hold space and create positive memories.
